Well, as far as poisons go, most of them don't hurt her. Of course, some of the transformations are fairly painful, but that hasn't stopped her yet...

The one exception to all of this is Jane Narbon, who makes her stuff to punch through Universal Antidote and innate resistance. That said, Claire's had a dose of her special antidote, so she's even more immune now anyway.

I'm not sure all of it would go through- Claire had more than just the Universal Antidote in her system. Of course, none of that took skin-contact stuff into account, so most of Narbon's stuff probably would have been effective. Not to mention the fact that poisons are pretty much the only thing Claire was immune to- otherwise, how would people test mutagens on her? Trying to actually *kill* Claire with poison would be pretty tough, though (not impossible, of course, but difficult).

Oh if you ask Thad he'd tell you some stories about mints. Of course being female doesn't bother him because he was/wasn't a girl for a whole (subjective) year.

I'm almost tempted to have Thad go as a Werewolf. But I'll probably try to think of something else for him to go as.

Oh dear. I still need to come up with a perfect costume for David! Darn it... I need something absolutely amazing.

I have an idea for Sarah, which I think will go over well. (Who will be appearing. It's Halloween and she'd technically be a ghost. It's too good a chance to pass up. Although people might not recognise her at first since she'd be in costume even while dead)

I already have a pretty good idea for Richard and Drezebel. I decided against using the Disgaea reference for their costumes (Richard would have never dressed up as Laharl anyway) but their costumes will be based off of a certain theme. I almost regret the fact that I don't have two other characters I could have come to the party with them and David, so that all five of them could be dressed accordingly to complete the theme. It'd be awesome, but I'd need to find two other living female characters willing to go along with it on very short notice, and I'm not sure if my brain can draft the NPCs for that so quickly. Still...hmm...

Toboz, I'd be willing to force Janitor/Alice into it. Take your pick: bright, cheerfully-Mad personality or surly, put-upon personality.

Or Janet could make something that splits her identities so you have both...

If you're really desperate for another female, you can use Minerva. If you want a bright, cheery, scary Librarian...

Yeah... I found people. To the people who are helping me with this, thanks!

EDIT: Sorry, JaneTor and Chic... I had already IMed one person before anyone on this thread replied, and the other person came to me and asked about playing the role before I even had a chance to notice this thread. Although I WILL admit that Minerva would have perfectly worked for one of the two characters I'm thinking about... Maybe. Min's a bit more talkative than I would have liked.

I just realized- Rose almost forgot to RSVP. Quite rude. Anyway, here's her response.

To Mirror-Maria (Jane, I believe) and Mirror-Chicgeek
First, I would like to say that no, I'm not coming to your @#$& party. I'm busy *working,* something your $&%# doubles make extremely difficult with their @#$% habit of blowing up my lab. Every #%&@ day. Hopefully, while they're over there, I can do things without being interrupted. Second, Jane, tell your $%@$ double that I'm not interested in going on a !#$% date with her! I'm trying to work! Finally, I've coated this letter in deadly poison. Just because I'm annoyed.
Rose
P.S. Ask Claire how the $@#% she's friends with a *Good* Prim.

Ok, so this was just an excuse for me to play around with Rose a bit. I would imagine the Nega-verse people blow up her lab for entertainment- if you think she curses a lot here, you should see her when her work is *actually* interrupted. Oh, and Jane got the letter, so no one was actually poisoned.

'Good Prim' hah! That;s right- Nega-X is the 'evil' version. I like to imagine that he's cheerful and good natured- but a manipulative jerk. Fun.

I'm currently not sure if it'd be a good idea for Janet to show up... Though thanks to the Discworld/Sandman comparisons I have the perfect costume.

Chic or JN, are party crashers allowed? (Recently arrived + no mailing address = no RSVP.) If so, just how protected is the buffet table? Hypothetically, could someone hide under it if their anonymity is threatened?

Fredric? He's male, blond, has occult powers, and a british accent. Give him a trenchcoat and make him John Constantine.

Just thought I'd make it clear for everyone else what my costumes are, Lagos is dressed specifically as Rockjaw from the Redwall books, and Wally's the strangest thing I could think of. A British Cyborg Zombie Ninja Pirate. Yes, he spends too much time on the internet, why do you ask?

I like. So, when is it talk like a british ninja cyborg pirate day?
I've only read one Redwall book. At first, when you said Long Patrol, I was thinking Watership down. ') I'll have to get back to Redwall one of these days.

It's on the first of octember of course. Yeah, it's actually been a bit since I last read one. I think I'll always remember Rockjaw, because that was the first time I cried at a book. Of course, a while isn't that long of a time, for me.
