When reading Sweetheart's section on the cast page, it mentions that she replaced a previous field commander who was killed by "a feral zombie killing machine" AKA Unity.

Because we, as fans, have no way of knowing whether or not the identity or nature of this previous field commander will ever be addressed in the strip, I now open the floor for rampant speculation about every possible aspect of him/her, and possibly violent debate or just plain violence.

In short, post your opinion on who/what the previous field commander of Skin Horse was in this thread, because spec is FUN!

I bet he was a crustacean of some sort.

You never know, he might have been the previous human liaison. Do the pages mention whether this would have happened before or after Tip's arrival? My other vote has to go to some sort of cat with an expanded brain and big skull. It would have been too tempting to resist for Unity and Sweetheart wouldn't have minded too much.

Anyways, I guess he/she/it could have been the last human representative, but wouldn't that mean that he/she/it died before Tip joined Skin Horse? I sort of took for granite that because they had a budget for 6 people, that at some point they actually had 6 members.
