About Chic-she can be reckless, especially when enraged.
She will protect those she considers family.
Being a wisp of a girl, with her big five foot nothing, she may have a wee chip on her shoulder.
As well as no qualms about fighting dirty.
Would she kill?

Probably not. She killed when she went mad, and regretted it when the first madness passed. And as much as DesII looks like Des...she'd have nightmares for life.
But if there was truly no other way? We'll see, won't we?
At the very least-she's quite serious about breaking his fingers. Perhaps some small part of her knows just how much trouble she's in now.
Being Mad, she doesn't care.

I like having a nuturing, cookie baking mad who'll go into a violent rage and beat you half to death if you push the right buttons.

*snerk* It's kind of a common theme, isn't it?
Andrew gets the same way- but he can be even worse. less chip on his shoulder, more 'mild problems with self-loathing'.

With a nice side-helping of 'No Therapists'- but then again, Xerox has one... who, I should mention, is an Android.

Mister has finished his devil's bargin.
What does everyone think, I tried my hardst to make this one whopper of a choice for Tinker while showing off the monster that is Mister. Does he come off as campy or creepy?

The funny thing is he's the GOOD monster. He won't stab you in the back. The front maybe. Several times most likely, too. Even in front of your kids, perhaps. But never from behind.
He's rigid, controlling, and a pefectionist to a fault. He has a code he plays by, and he doesn't break it.

I'm with Claire. Shudder. The politeness, the matter of fact manner, just makes him more creepy.
But I think Andrew might suprise you.

Remember, Andrew only manages being Sensible by being lucky- he *is* mad.
And the concept that he is somehow responsible for every moment of misery that his family has ever gone through has kind of given him a Heroic BSOD- lightly, anyways.

Well, this should be interesting. Wally's going to have to work hard not to try and get Rob *before* the inevitable betrayal should any of this come to his attention soon. That, and see a therapist after all this is over. Should be fun.

"Aaaahh! ahhh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!"

I suspect that Xerox can recommend a good therapist to you and.... 60% of the cast. Dr. Amino and Claire seem pretty well balanced.

Aww... I missed all of it!

Well, most of the plans in place are happening as we speak. We're still waiting on Amino to make her move, but other than that, Phase 1 has been more or less a pretty impressive move.

That being said: HOLY GEEZE WHAT HAPPENED TO TINKER?!? Man, that's rough. Mister is freaking creepy. Hm, maybe I should have gone with the remote-control David-drone after all...

Nah. This makes for a better story. Just one that's still kinda dark. Hmm...

Yeah, Wally is convinced that he'll get betrayed. His reasoning is something like this. There's never been a plan to dominate the world that has worked, and hasn't been orcestrated by a giant conspiracy. Any conspiracy worth it's salt already has control of the world, so this scheme is bound to fail. Therefore, when it does, somebody will get blamed. Unless they plan on trying again with the same people, that somebody is the hired help. Thus, inevitable betrayal, as the plan crumbles around him.

Oh dear... now I'm imagining a giant group therapy session. Desius talking about his childhood, Andrew describing his father's death, Chicgeek describing her father and uncle... At what point would the therapist curl into a little ball and start whimpering? Of course, if Dr. Amino and Claire were required to come, just for the sake of covering everyone, there would be probably be a tinfoil hat for the therapist... and Claire would either get bored and set off an explosive or attack the therapist...SoItBegins might not have too many problems with this... although explaining Ariel to might prove interesting. Actually, explaining Prime would be interesting- the voice in his head is real, he swears!

Inkblots- "What does this one look like?" "Deathray." "And this one?" "Another deathray." "This one?" "Doomsday device."

Of course, Xerox's therapist is probably used to that by now, so someone else would have to be found. Probably several someone elses. What's the fun of group therapy if you can't permanently traumatize a few therapists?

Not really- his therapist is an Android, so when the sessions are over he can just move the new data into a locked-off memory file.
And the Inkblot tests would be pretty fun.

I think it's highly ironic how you say Dr. Amino is one of the more balanced characters.

We're still waiting on Amino to make her move, but other than that, Phase 1 has been more or less a pretty impressive move.

I'm working on that...for some reason I couldn't access the forum at all today until now.

No worries. There's still plenty of time.

Don't feel pressured on my account. After all, the longer this phase drags out, the more damage is inflicted on the rest of the mad science community.

Mwahahaha.

Dr. Amino: Well, of *&course* she is. Why? because her Madness is *stable*. Sure she's 'Up to eleven', but on Eleven she *stays*, bu golly. Besides, she seems prettycontent, most days, and has n major self-image issues.
I'd probably add Sayasuke to that list- for a 100x7 demon, he's pretty well-adjusted.

Claire, I love your description of a group therapy session. Spot on!

But now I'm suddenly seeing a blooper reels episode of the Mad Scientist Wars.
Actors hamming it up, flubbing lines, joking around out of character-hey, it's a hit show, right?
And the credits for that episode would be pure fan service, just for fun. Cut to shots of each character with Zobot's arm.
Yes, I have an odd sense of humor-but I can so picture that!
I'm tempted to write it, but I'll resist-I don't want to risk getting lynched.

I insist that you should write it!

Actually, I've been thinking some ideas for things like that myself, recently. One in particular I've got that I had to cut from an earlier Tanglebox post that would fit particularly well. As far as I'm concerned it'd be canon, but in all honestly it's too amusing to fit the theme and it doesn't involve any of the current cast of characters...

Plus, I've been DYING to start my spin off idea in tales of Madness...

Well, I will once I get the Narbon story done. Ugh, if only writing this wasn't like pulling teeth. I hate writing for other characters I didn't make. It always makes me second guess whether or not they'd write them the same way.

Okay, I don't think I can resist-but you post your story, too! The Blooper Reels would be a multi night special anyway, far too much for just one episode.
