Don't worry as FAR as I can tell fonts that are suposed to look handwritten just plain LOOK BAD. DC comics has a real problem with it

That's weird... The hadwriting font for Saavedro in Myst III: Exile was perfectly legible, if a bit messy.

1. The odd thing is Marvel while I still don't think they do it well has done it better than dc for a LOOONG time I notced for the first time comparing a 1982 Defenders to a 1985 Swamp-thing.
2 it can really take you out of the story since they use it in a lot of stories that are suposed to be BATMAN'S notebook. You think to yourself "Bruce Wyane's penmanship is that BAD? Oh come on!
note the two comics were defenders 110 and swamp thing 21 which REALLY came out in 1984. Sorry
