Narbonic number six

Postby chicgeek on Sun May 25, 2008 3:09 pm

Is there a release date yet on the next volume of Narbonic? I have succeded in my insidious plan of getting the whole household hooked, bwahaha.

And wouldn't it be marvelous to have the Trip to the Moon collected?
Hey, I can dream.

Wheee indeed!

I just joined the forum purely to ask that very question, teach me not to read 'em first. Yesterday's post brought the darlingest gerbil-inscribed package, one late night later I'm panting for the final installment. (Presume #6 will be the last, but I'd also jump at a collected Astonishing Excursions/Trip to the Moon.)

And, yes, the bonus story is still in progress. This will seem even more ridiculous when you see the bonus story, since it's all of four pages long.

It's harder to be short than long. As my picture book author friends say, "If you've only got 500 words to tell the story, they need to be 500 exactly-right words." (I could no more do a story in four pages, in any format, than I could fly to the moon.)
All you can do is the best you can do.

Any more updates? I'm kinda waiting on #6 as I presume it will be the last, and then I plan to buy the whole lot in an insane moment of buying frenzy!

I'm very eager to complete my set.

I can ask my three year old "What do bad guys say?" and he'll respond with a "Hah Hah Ha!" - more of a bold villain laugh than the scheming villain Heh heh heh. We'll still working on the arms akimbo while he says it.

Wow. And it seems like just yesterday when you released Volume One.

Time flies.
