Sorry to relay this, but Sweetheart was recently sighted at an illegal and violent gambling event. SR's fears about her relationship with Unity are sadly vindicated.
(Ryan Estrada's been gathering webcomic-dog names in his LJfor cameos for the latest "Life's a Bluff" strip, and Sweetheart came up so I'm guessing that's her at the back. Sincere grovelling apologies if I've committed a misidentification.)

I dunno, that looks like a pretty supportable one. Obviously can't say with a zero error margin without the artist's input, but.

Well, I'm not saying she'd ACTUALLY attend a dog fight. Now, watching "When Animals Attack -- EACH OTHER!!!" on the Fox network, that would be another matter entirely.

In her defense, she looks kind of concerned.

I am sleep-deprived; therefore, I first read a crucial word in this thread title as "sandal." A puppyish lapse of that sort would cause a serious breach with Tip, even though it would indicate an attachment to him.

Don't judge too harshly without sufficient data. We all know Sweetheart is a good dog. We don't know why she might be in such a den of iniquity, but who among us has never been dragged by a friend or a blind date to a venue we didn't want to be in, but couldn't get away from? Or she could be there on a government mission, dog fights being a natural place for certain desperate nonhuman intelligences to turn up. Or this could be the canine equivalent of the WWF and no dogs are being hurt. Or it might be one of Sweetheart's littermates from the mad science lab. Or...
