Anyone wishing to (unsuccessfully) debate me on the viability of opening with Blackfriars to Elephant & Castle, please do so here. I do warn you, I am awfully awfully good at Mornington Crescent.

I'd love to, but I know absolutely nothing about Mornington Crescent.

Explain it for me?

Well, it's really sort of a hard game to explain, very nuanced, impossible to introduce in BBS format. I'd have to scan and send you a copy of "Little Mornington Crescent For Beginners", a highly abridged and annotated version of the core rules, but I misplaced my copy, and the only other person I know with a copy is a former college roommate of mine, and we've had sort of a falling-out.

I refer you to Wikipedia; they have a nicely comprehensive page. I gather that once you read that, you'll be more than up to speed and able to participate in any entry-level game of MC.
