Happy belated Halloween, everyone!

Incidentally, can anyone see Eta going trick-or-treating with Dr. Mallory?

I thought,Why, this alabaster octopus looks like it wants a nice transmission inside it,& fairly soon I had a thing that obviously had a Use, though what that Use could be was a total mystery.

Oh, most definitely. And the Tinker/Mallory household has the *best* candy.

The question, however, is what would Eta wear?

I can see Igor handing out candy. And Eta's costume? How about Spaceman Spiff?
Just out of curiosity, does Eta know about his big brother, Des?

Igor makes his candy by *hand*. It is most exellent.

Hmm... that, or Damion from The Omen. Or a very somber Count Count. XD

Okay, the party is winding down. There's a thing or two Jane and I would like to do before the end. SIB has graciously extended our time, but I don't believe we'll go over by much.
What I'm leading up to?
Time to vote on the costumes!
Four categories.
Best Costume, Best Group Costume, Scariest Costume, Most Original Costume.
Only the writers get to vote. So, Tinker could vote once for each category, as writer. But can't cast individual votes for Andrew, Fredric, Saya, ect. ect. ect. for example.
Please look over the handy dandy list, and make sure your character's costume is listed correctly.

One last question-would you all rather pm me with your votes, or post them here in the thread? I'm okay with it either way.
Today is Tuesday. So, how about we cut off voting on Friday? Is that reasonable?

The list-

Group Costumes.

Group 192X
Xerox-Detective X
Jess-The Lady In Red

Group-Barsoom
Claire-Dejah Thoris
Archimedies-Woola
Jennifer-Thern princess
Crash-Tars Tarkas

Group-Looney Toons
Claire-Bugs Bunny
Jennifer-Daffy Duck
Crash-Elmer Fudd
Jen-Jen-Road Runner
Rose-Wile E. Coyote
Michael-Porky Pig

Group-Mother 3
Syasuke-Lucas
Zenshatai-Kumatori

SoItBegins-Legion/Anonymous

Firefly-
Xxxy-Jayne
Jeffe-Dr. Simon Tam

The Lady and the Tiger
Sarcastic-The Lady
Khan-The Tiger

Group-Bleach. 4 of 10 gentlemen
Radiant-Byakuya Kuchiki
Malachi-Gin Ichimaru
Flux-Toshiro Hitsugaya
Tsubaki-Soi Fon

Group Homestar Runner-
Freddy-Strongbad
Fredric-Homestar Runner
Cleese-The Cheat

Comic-Asterix
Nemo Durant, The Library-Asterix
Farnsworth-Obelik

Group Costume-The Gods of Mad Science
Richard Toboz-Einstein
Lady Drezabel-Marie Curie
David-Tesla

Individual Costumes.

Jane-Witch.
Chic-Gypsy Queen
Sparky-Pink Princess
Rolf-Prohibition Era Gangster
Andrew-Tarvak
Ariel-Magical Girl
Michael-Yami Marik
Sami-Terra, of the Teen Titans
Jack-Primary Xerox
The Steve-Death, Discworld style
Herr-The Spy
Kid Atomic-Mercury
Thunderwoman-Pleniar, from Disgaea
Helen-Queen Bee
Marie Electra-Tesla Girl!
Sammi-Pirate/Ninja
nZobot- Werner Heisenberg
nMichael-Yami Yugi
Sarah-Raspberyl from Disgaea 3
JaneTor-Diana Prince
Hawk- Pirate/Ninga
Miss Clay- Zombie
Maria Narbon-Reporter
nTinker-Lord Vetenari, the patrician

The prizes?
Er, I'm still digging through old pm's to see what Jane and I came up with. I'll post that soon!

And the high point of our party begins! What will our explorations into the secrets of the universe uncover?

Heh. Heh. Heh...

Anyways, how's about I extend the voting through the weekend? Remember folks, vote early and often! Come to think of it, I haven't voted myself...uh..
Look! A three headed martian monkey!

Seriously, are there any objections to voting in the thread? Or would you all prefer to use pm's?
Strict majority vote, Jane and I have nothing to do with who wins, and if we have a tie...(Gulp), I suppose we can make you duel to the death for our amusement or something.
And SiB, thanks for extending our party time-it will be wrapped up soon!

I vote for the Looney Toons Group, and Herr for individuals.
Also, you forgot Nega Tinkers Patrician Vetinari costume.

I vote for the Bleach group for the group costume, but Sparky for the individual costume!

Don't forget, there's four categories-- Best Group, Best Individual, Most Original, and Scariest! :D

Chic is forcing me to vote for The Gods of Science as Best Group Costume, and I'm saying Ariel as Magical Girl for Scariest. I can't help it-I have to go with Sarcastic and Khan's The Lady or the Tiger as most original-even though there's one prize, and they'd have to fight over it or share. Best Costume is really tough-but I think I'll go with SoItbegins as Anonymous/Leigon.

Looks like we may not have a majority for some categories-eep! Come on folks, don't force me to be creative! Vote!
But come to think of it, the idea of Chic and Jane shrugging, and forcing the individuals recieving votes to fight it out amuses me...

For Best Group, I choose 192X... you can't beat the Lady in Red.
For Most Original, I'm going to have to go with SoItBegins.
For Scariest... quite honestly, I think Chic called it! Ariel it is.
And for Best Costume.... oh my. This is a tricky one. I just can't get the idea of Jess, as the Lady in Red, out of my head.... My vote is for Jess!

I'll be making a post in the party sometime today!

EDIT: Post is made. Also, I am both amused and terrified by the idea of Mell Kelly being kept on retainer by M for "Aggressive Legal Maneuvers" although I can't see M as having to resort to legal matters much. Lady Drezebel is probably just bluffing with Jennifer, but under the circumstances it's probably an effective bluff.

Siiigh....
I was afraid of this. There's no majority on the best group and best individual...although I have a way to work around the group vote, if needed. So I shall hold off posting winners, hoping someone else will vote! And I'll think of something, if not.
We really do need to be wrapping up Halloween-it is november. So I will ask everyone something-you don't have to sit in on the seance, but if you'd like to, may I request you post briefly, just stating that you're mosying to the table, or seated next to so and so?
Then Jane and I will do a few fast seance posts, Mithral Jack will perform one last song he's been wanting to do ever since we started, and we hand out prizes and go home.
We have the main game, pirates, alchemy...there's a lot going on in the forum right now. I'm having lots of fun with the halloween party, but we really should start winding it up.
Thanks!

I'll have a post up saying as such soon, ok?

You're right... we should probably wrap this up.

As always, I'll tie-break.

Hmm. For best Individual, I vote.... Jess, as the Lady in Red!

For Most Original, I vote...

...oh man, this is a tricky one...

...well, I guess I'll go with... Sarcastic and Khan, the Lady and the Tiger!

For best group, meanwhile... it'll be Nemo and Farnsworth, Asterix and Obelix!

A favor to ask-please don't mess with the zombies! Mithril Jack has a post he'll add tonight, dealing with them. I'm not saying don't post-feel free to, if you'd like. Just please don't mess with the zombies. Post coming within the hour dealing with them.
I'm trying to hurry halloween along as fast as I can! It's almost wrapped up. Thanks for your patience, everybody!

Jane: I've been waiting to do this for a while.

What will happen? Could Jane and SoItBegins rekindle romantic feelings for one another? Find out, tomorrow night!
