Uh, you realize that, under the pranks and the clowning around, that's basically what Jane is, right?

I'm aware- and she gives him the heebie jeebies.

Ho-lee-crud

*bows to Amino*

You have just outcrazied Kinestro by a factor I previously thought impossible.

This is only the first of two sets of ninja. Enjoy!

Still playing Phoenix Wright. Man, the rush you get when you get theory after theory right (to the triumphant swell of the music) is awesome.

Heh. Why, thank you, Demothesis.
Yeah, I'm excited for this next part. I have a feeling Amino and Kinestro are going to get along just fine.

I'm not entirely sure Kinestro's allowed to get along with anyone. His overwhelming bombastic nature tends to get in the way of that.

Either way, I'm looking forwards to the next few posts.

btw; It might just be because I'm new, but I'm unsure if you know about the chat function the board has. From what I understand it's a fairly new addition. Let me know if I'm wrong, but if I'm not, there's a chat button up at the top of the forum page. It can get pretty amusing the stuff that happens in chat, and the ideas that get fleshed out.*Shrug* Check it out sometime.(<-one of the chat lurkers)

We'll get back to those lovable scamps David and Richard in my next post, but this one gave me carpel tunnel with how long it was to begin with.

My apologies... And Amino, let me say this again: It's great to have you back!

Hee! Great kareoke-and I know that song! And Dave Olsen comes face to face with Amino! And possibly Kinestro! As Claire would say-
"Yay! SPLODEY!"

But...um...I hate to nitpick. I liked seeing Ann, and how she thinks. But S-Chic dropped S-Xerox and S-Jess off at their house...

Slime-Chic grins, wickedly, as Fredric and company clear out. It's just her and Slime-Andrew on the ship now.

I have no idea where S-Herr and company are, they haven't said.
Let's see-Revel appeared at Chic's, and Mecha's tapped him on the shoulder, asking him to skedaddle. S-Chic has no idea-she left the ship, stopped long enough to send Sparky away, and tell Mecha not to let anyone inside, and then left, dragging S-Andrew with her.
Okay...I like where you're going with Ann, and Tinker hasn't posted yet. If it's okay with him, we can have S-Jess and S-Xerox making themselves at home at Chic's, for now, while they decide what to do.
S-Jess's comments on getting pizza, and nom'ing the delivery guy? We'll say she thinks no one can hear-hey, Godfrey doesn't always manifest, and who notices the computer? And she thinks Mecha's just outside....how about that? Mecha always has a presence inside-with all Chic's tech, it isn't always obvious what's an extension of Mecha. She's had to speak firmly to him about privacy, but he doesn't really get the concept.

It'll certainly heat things up in a hurry! So-no rewrite needed.
Hmmm...yeah, I like this. Is this okay with everyone else?

Do you think I had the 1st idea what a squidhole was when I invented it? Certainly not! I was just messing about! That's when the very best & very Maddest Science gets done. I thought,Why, this alabaster octopus looks like it wants a nice transmission inside it,& fairly soon I had a thing that obviously had a Use, though what that Use could be was a total mystery.
(Sameness Engine) I haven't the 1st notion of what it's for! That's not why I made it-I made it for the sheer joy of making something new! It's getting up to tell me what it wants me to do, though, I can just feel it. It's been giggling a lot at night.

Ooooh... sounds good, though Chic has to survive long enough to meet Jane and capture her DNA... if for no other reason than to have a sJane running around. I insist.

Oh, um... I can change the post if you want...

Thanks for the kareoke compliment!

Zobot, I like Ann there spying. If Tinker's okay with it, then so am I.
And...S-Jane?
That's going to be interesting!

And it would seem that the Tinker genetic programming is taking a firmer hold...

Andrew: ...Good lord! You want to keep them, don't you?!

Maayyyyybeee. Oh, come on! It'll be fun!

Andrew: Ugh. Don;t come crying to *me* over too many characters, then. I swear... you;d think they were kittens.

Claire: Buh?

Crash: You aren't a kitten. If anything, you're an ADULT catgirl.

Claire: Oh... But I can still work for Boss, right?

Crash: ...sure. He said they were LIKE kittens- oh, forget it. *distracts Claire with a cookie*

And, actually, I had forgotten about the chat function until you reminded me. I'll have to check that out when I get the chance.

Regarding my latest post: I'm well aware that the ninja PROBABLY survived Radiant's attack somehow. Ninjas are tricky like that, and this one is the last ninja left of the set, which makes him instant death by the Conservation of Ninjutsu. But I wanted, at least once, to demonstrate how ridiculously overpowered Radiant's abilities are. He can make solid-light holograms, project lasers, make himself invisible, and in general do a LOT of damage. He's SUPPOSED to be very powerful.

That's why his drawback is fairly debilitating. Remember, he gets increasingly delusional the more he SPAMS his powers. If he were a more rational man, he'd probably have learned to rely more on his normal talents than his supernatural ones.

We'll get back to David, Slime-Richard, and Slime-Flux next post.

The following is an excerpt from a print comic called "Atomic Robo and the Shadow From Beyond Time":

"No, look at that thing. It's evil. You built an evil computer."
"Robo, it's essentially a calculator. It can't be 'evil.'"
"Computers that SOLVE problems don't look like this. They're unassuming boxes on a desk. They're refrigerators without the exciting brand names. Computers that are evil have all kinds of unnecessary ornamentation. This thing's venting steam. Why's it doing that? It's like in nature. Like rattlesnakes or brightly colored poisonous frogs. It wants you to know it's dangerous... okay, we'll move forward with the experiment. BUT! We shut it down the second something evil happens."
"We're not really equipped to detect evil."
"Furthermore, I doubt you could quantify an ethical precept into experimental data."
"You guys are simultaneously under- and over-thinking this. Let's just say we'll hit the kill switch when the screaming starts."
"Fine."
"Agreed."

So why is it I keep thinking of M when I hear this conversation?

bah... i will overcome!

And that *is* somethign that would happen at M. I imagine it;s hard to get all the Evil Computers out of your system for a while... but that's why they;re at M.

This is quite concerning, and I don't want to steal your thunder because you legitimately have me a bit nervous about whatever Jane's planning, but I have to interrupt while I'm still awake:

Our own Demothesis, as you are all probably aware of by the time you're reading this, got his fan art posted on Skin Horse.

I just want to say congrats! It's a small honor, but any honor is honor.
