So a chat snowball has my muse demanding that I make a MSW card game. I want to make it as well as possible, so I'm making this thread to discuss possible rule structures, card types, character cards, etc.

DOOM! and DR.KINESTRO! are both trademarks of the Kinestro co. and are not to be used, displayed, shouted, written, or thought without express permission of the Kinestro co. Perpetrators will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law, then dealt with personally by DR.KINESTRO!(tm).

So the basic Idea I have for the cardgame is similar to yugioh and Magic the Gathering in gameplay. Character cards with atk/def and special abilities, special equip cards, attack cards, trap cards, and field cards.

Here's the basic character card template with an example.

Occupations/specialties: Hench, Brawler, Assasin, M Agent, Progressor Agent, Programmer, Robotisist, physicist, Biologist, Genetisist, Chemist, Clockwork/steampunk, Linguist/English.

I blame Demo.

I also use his drawings to make trading cards, apparently. Making cards is fun...

This sounds like fun. Course if we want to play this, we would have to print the cards out. I suggest that he cards should fix the dimensions of a pre-existing card game, or close to it. (not sure if these are to those dimensions are not but wanted to throw that out there.) The reason being is that at east for a start we would have to print these out. then it would be easy to get cheap cards and sleeves for it and there you go. (I did that for my totally made up GG mtg deck.)
