My next post could be a while. Randall and I are debating the pros and cons of attempting escape, and are having trouble reaching a decision...

Flower and Poetry make is so tempting to try, though...

Well my new post is up. Hopefully Molly's quest for food and freedom won't be hampered by Thomas's scatterbrained tactics.

And the Narbonics are BAAACK! Maybe.
I guess they'll have to start making money again next...

Well, you did receive an invite, Kopout, and I DID make it clear that this is a more casual game...

So I'll tell ya what: You have until the 30th to post your character up in the Cast List, and then to e-mail me letting me know how you want your character to be introduced. If you get that done by the 30th (which seems reasonable given you saying you probably wouldn't be around much until the 28th) then you're in. If you can't manage by the 30th and you don't let me know beforehand that you're going to have trouble, then I'm going to have to drop you.

Does that sound fair to everyone?

Post will be up tomorrow morning, so people can post when they want tonight and will get their situations updated tomorrow if they're quick.

Yeah... I'm curious as to what your character's going to do, Hawk!

Incidentally, I'm having a few delays IRL, so the post will be up later today.

Ok, I'm kinda writing this at a Hospital, on my friend's PDA.

I kinda had to take my friend's wife to the hospital so she could give birth, as her water broke just recently. At the moment I am still AT the Hospital while my friend stands around in a fret-filled panic since the doctors won't let him inside to see his wife during the events that are happening for some reason. I don't really think I should leave, but I'm not honestly sure what I should be DOING at this point.

So I'm going to delay the post one more day. It'll give a few more people some time to post. Tomorrow morning at the longest.

Well Zobot, he is basically going on a crusade against all sorts of villains. Kinda like Othar. Actually in a very familiar fashion as Othar, except without the death wish or only targeting the mads. Not sure how else a detective would go mad. And the first and foremost target, the Narbonics

I can understand his frustration and worry at not being allowed in to see his wife during the labour. I was in the delivery suite with my wife as my son came into the world, and whilst in some ways it was incredibly disturbing to watch, I'm glad I was there for her, and to be a part of it.

I'm sure the doctors have both his wifes, and the childs best interests in mind though, so there's probably a very good reason why they're keeping him out.

Unless of course, they're being dicks, in which case I want to see him kick them repeatedly.

Today, I spent the last several hours in the hospital waiting for a friend to give birth with the baby of her and another friend. I had absolutely no reason to be there, other than the fact that my best friend in the world needed someone around to talk to and keep him from freaking out.

The baby, Ayla Ophelia Baussaun, was born about 30 minutes ago. Both mother and daughter are fine, although both are exhausted. It's strange how moments like this can affect people. I'm not even related to the family and I couldn't help but get caught up in the moment.

I'm going to bed soon. Post will be up tomorrow.

Glad to hear everything turned out fine! I hope they had a reason for keeping your friend waiting out in the room. Unnecessary stress aside, trying to reassure someone else is a good way to keep calm.

But in any case, congratulations to both of them!

Hopefully, I'm not playing too rough with the nameless NPCs. Though, I should have had Randall Pile Drive the second one.

Holy crap I posted twice in 2 days. I'm a madman and must be stopped for the good of laziness everywhere.

And don't worry, Dreamshifter. That's what nameless NPCs are for. Although that doesn't mean I'm going to make it easy on you...

New post up tomorrow afternoon updating the situations of anyone who has posted. I'm giving a few more people some time to write, and if some people (Such as The Snark) might not have much they think they can do, I'll give them something to do.

Heh heh heh.

One quick question. Is there a control panel for the security door I'm facing on my side of it?

Yes. Yes there is. It's currently under lockdown, so it'd require a password to reactivate it (or a very skilled hacker) but there is in fact one.

Ah, excellent. You're right, I don't have much planned for Nicola at the moment, though her inner thoughts are usually good for a post. Feel free to skip to Amy's return, or to throw things* at me. It actually struck me when I was writing the line about wanting to talk to someone with mad scientist experience that there is such a person, but even if Prast's in the coffee shop, I'm not sure why they would meet.

*Metaphorical plot-things, that is. Not physical objects.

Ok... post is up.

Rei Jin: I wasn't entirely sure what to do with your post thus far. If you want to try and contact Prast, indicate that you're going to try that. If you're going to go to the military, indicate that. I'll make a post to respond to it the second you update your situation.

Well, first off I want to see if the techie has any way of working out where the signal was going to. Regardless of whether or not he can, I would be contacting the Military to let them know of a potential incursion by a Canadian company with the intent to steal intellectual property and that several assaults have already been caused by their actions, and that it has been done with a chip that I believe could be Mad Tech. Once I have their interest, I would ask to be put in contact with Prast as he's a specialist in such things, and may be able to help further. Of course, if they instead put me in touch with a recent recruit (Jack) then so be it.

I was going to wait for the techie's response regarding the tracking of the signal before I put that post up though, but feel free to speed things along if you like.

Has anyone heard anything from Edward? He seemed to vanish. As with the guy playing Molly...

Anyway, post up tonight.

Unfortunately, this is what happens with most online PbP games. People come and go like a bad curry.

...that's a euphemism I could do without having heard. Regardless, I sent pms to both of them via GiTP's forums in the hopes of finding out what's going on with them. Anyways, regardless of that, I'm going to be posting soon.

Ok... after being given a heads up, I'm giving some people who asked for a bit of time a chance to post. Post will be up tomorrow morning sometime.
