If you are new, and have stumbled on this section of the site, or you're returning and wondering what's going on, here's an explanation:

The Mad Scientist Wars: The Second Battle was an attempt at a spinoff from the popular forum story/game The Mad Scientist Wars, also hosted on this forum. The spinoff has, unfortunately, died, mainly as a result of both not enough people, and not enough posts to give it that elusive 'critical mass'.

The story stays here, as a monument to what could have been. However, it's closed to new members (it's dead, after all), and exists only as an archive.
