*facepalm* of course.(I actually thought Jane was their granddaughter for some reason)

That's a good one Tinker, I'll add it to the list of 'alts' I'm making. (future Dave, Mint'd Dave, Mint'd Helen, and now president Mell)

If it helps, by my estimate- assuming Jane was born within three-10 years of the end of Narbonic- and also giving that her age is something like late twenties, the Mad Scientist wars takes place somewhere in 203X to 204X.
(So we could assume, say, that ANTONIO SMITH and Eric TInker would have been colleagues.)

Tinker: I'm only drawing the things I feel inspired to draw, but if you send me descriptions and one, or two or however many, get my muse's attention, I'll draw it. Sorry, can't promise any more than that.

Zobot: :o Awesome.

A note: Jane is biologically in her late 20s, but her aging process has apparently been slowed. No telling how old she really is now. I'm working on a new, highly detailed profile of her... it'll mention this.

Fair enough, Demo. :D

Jane- can I assume she;s under, say, 40? Since that would keep the timeline I;ve been working on about right...
yeesh. No wonder I'm doing a Time travel chapter- I have to just to sew u a few questions about timing.

Hey, Demothesis. I've been meaning to say this for a long time, but WOW. You are an amazing artist, and I'm astounded that you can draw so many great works of art in so little time. Seriously, I wish I could draw as well as you.

Also, your picture of Amino and Ingrid has earned you the Chinchilla Foundation Award For Awesome Artistry! That means the Chinchilla Foundation (aka Dr. Amino) has seen your picture of her and deemed it appropriately awesome.
Benefits of the Chinchilla Foundation Award For Awesome Artistry! include: a grant of five million Monopoly dollars with which to further pursue your artwork, immunity from Amino's ire in all art-related subjects, and fifteen percent off any jello product whose color has an odd number of letters at your local grocery store! Congratulations!

Thanks Amino, though the productivity is mainly due to it being winter break, so I had a lot of free time. Now college is demanding I write papers and other non-creative things, so art will be a bit slower in coming.

And I suppose thanks are in order for the...*checks Amino's post*Chinchilla Foundation Award For Awesome Artistry? So, you know where I can convert monopoly money to dollars? Reality uses a different currency than Dr. Amino apparently.

My grandfather has the complete Calvin and Hobbes, and I was reading it over winter break...

...it was fun to draw. And I like silly. Although personality-wise I'd say Claire makes a better Calvin, but the costumes were easier this way.

Fredric: *walks by in a technicolor coat, with a sprig of parsley in the lapel*
Rutherford: ... *glances at the audience* I have my work cut out for me. Master Fredric! A moment, young master Fredric...

Well, I tried...

Fredric's too skinny, but I think I got his coat just about right, and I don't *know* that that's something Andrew would wear, but consulting my sources-

Claire: Mister Tinker would look AWESOME in that outfit!

-I think I'm probably on the right track, at least. And I really like getting to use all the bright colors in one outfit.

I also really like the combination of Andrew's expression with that outfit, for some reason.

Dr. Amino: You know, sometimes I really hate reality. I swear, when I conquer the world, the first thing I'll do is put reality on the monopoly standard. No, wait, second thing. First on the agenda is installing a fishbowl on every payphone.

(Writer speaking, btw) Also, Claire? Your drawings are adorable.

Ingrid: *squees* Aw, they're so cute when they have no sense of fashion!

Dr. Amino: What do you mean, Ingrid? They look fine to me. Although Fredric's outfit could use a bit less pink...

Crash, Burn, and Code

Image

Rather a silly picture, but I like how it turned out. Especially Burn. And I don't think Code can access hammerspace yet, but I'm ignoring that for the purposes of drawing pictures.
